Getting the first monster modeled for the game

I've been watching all of the let's play videos posted online and have gained a lot of valuable insight and also determined key areas to be improved and iterated upon. I'm now resuming my work by ironing out those aspects to be as smooth as possible. While doing this, I have also managed to get in contact with a 3D character artist who's beginning work on the games first monster design, The Watcher. I'm so excited and can't wait to share more progress on this title with everyone who's supported me since uploading the first version of my alpha and everyone who joins in that support maybe even after I've published this devlog.

The amount of support and positive feedback I've been getting was both very unexpected but also very amazing and appreciated. This is my very first game but you've all been so encouraging and I couldn't be happier. Truthfully, the amount of attention and feedback this game has received, even though still small and even though positive, did scare me a little bit. I was honestly prepared for no one to play and for those that did to hate the game but instead, you've all been so amazing and every day there's been new attention brought to my game. I plan to see this through to the end and to make this game as good and memorable as I can possibly make it to be. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me and giving me your words of encouragement!

It's my hope to have a new update ready by the end of next month featuring 2 new puzzles, some new story elements, and some improvements to the game's sounds and game feel. Also if all goes according to plan you can expect the first scene where you'll be introduced to The Watcher, a terrifying presence who grants the mercy of remembrance by bearing witness to the suffering of others.

Can't wait for the completed product!

Well my goal is to have at least an hours worth of a playable experience by the time I've finished. On my way toward that goal, my plan is to create about 10 to 15 minutes worth of additional gameplay every 2 months or less.
